The parabolic shape and concave bottom was designed with the intent to help the beginner surfer up and out of the water easily and quickly into the sweet spot. The design, which was inspired by a snowboarder and ocean surfer, achieved the initial goal and the design proved to be much faster than the conventional wake surfboard. Further designs such as the 4’8” fish and 4” 4” round tail quad achieved quicker, sharper turns and unprecedented bursts of speed. It was the speed of the fish in a new wave that challenged our nearly 49 year-old rider, Mike, a bit at the NWSSA open. Twice the boards are made to aggressively charge a wave similar to surfing a hollow ocean beach wave. Mike slammed the back of the tow-boat twice. We are currently in the design stage for the surfskim board and are beginning to look for team riders. We believe our surfskim will continue our theme of speed but add more snap for bigger ollies and airs. We have created a blogsite, Seattlesoulsurf.blogspot.com with additional information about the boards and would appreciate your comments and opinions. We maybe in contact to have you shot some footage. Thanks
