Richard won 2nd with this run, way to go!
From Chris: “It is an Inland Surfer Swallow Tail with 2 fins rather than 4. I’ve been surfing for 3 years and started surfing the Swallow Tail at the beginning of this season. I surfed the Inland Surfer Yellow Loogie prior to this season. I was hoping to hit one of those 360s and will be hitting them for next year’s competition. Watch out Kevin!”
So Mike, tell us about this large peanut shaped board, looks interesting. Whats the info on it?
Sorry Kelli, missed you, but found you in the video. Here is a note from Kelli about herself and her friend Sierra Avea:
“sierra and i ride the same board, its an inland skim 4’6″. we’ve been riding for 5 years but this is the first summer that we rode more than 3-4 times per season. we are also starting a womens wakesurfing club, our goal is to try to get more women on the wake doing the same tricks as the men
we want to bring the sport back to the ladies before the men completely take over like they did with skateboarding.”
Right on Girls. As a father of 4 girls, I love seeing girls working to take it to the next level. Send us information about your club.
We can’t create a nice video of an entire division with music and stuff due to YouTube’s limitations. But we sure can do this in our podcast!
