Chase Hazen Takes 1st Place in Mens Open
We have created this section on wake9.com to present all of the photos and video from the 2010 Wake9.com/Tigé Spring Wakesurf festival. A great time was had by all, and we can’t wait til next year. A special note should be made about the Tigé wake. Tigé came to the event with 2 boats, which is the norm in a wakesurf event like this, one boat for the goofy riders and one for the regular riders. One of the boats got damaged the morning of the event, so we had to scramble and pull the event with one boat. This required us to change the boat from side to side during the event. Due to Tigé’s automation and great hull we were able to make the switchover in minutes, and the boat made the same consistent wake on both sides with the same weight. Very few boats could do this, and it was a great testimony to the quality of the surf wake on the 2010 Tigé RZ2.
