Wake9 RZ2 Longwave

Ragboy and RJ have some fun with ballast and speed with the RZ2. The goal was to make a longer wake than normal. Just how versatile is the surf wake behind the RZ2?

GREAT instructional video also. “More weigth forward and/or faster speed lengthens wake.” This works in our boat and most others, I’m sure. I am curious to know if you used a hand held GPS. In our boat two tenths in speed can make a big difference. Nice Job!

I have used handheld GPS from my iphone to see if our speedo was accurate. It seemed to be, but it was not a very thorough test. Something I planned to do, but never got around to.

I would highly reccommend getting an accurate speed variant. We found 13.0 on perfect pass was actually 11.5 GPS on our boat.

Yes, it is definitely something we need to check, just haven’t gotten around to it. I am guessing, we are about .5 mph fast, so when I say 12, it is probably more like 11.5.
